This is a beautiful area with many waterfalls. The hiking is easy and you can camp anywhere you like.

Hiking: 25-mile network of trails. Trails explore pockets of pristine, isolated wilderness. Sandstone cliffs, gorges, small waterfall, dense woods, wildflowers. Intersected by swift creeks. Moderate.

The Sipsey River trail is one of the most beautiful places I think I have ever hiked and it is right here in AL. So majestic. While the soft sounds of two different waterfalls passively drown out the noise in your mind, the towering rocks block all cell signals to actively fend off the noise of the world. The entire atmosphere demands that you dwell in serenity. I almost didn't post this, because I selfishly wanted to keep it as my own little "Beulah Land."
